Tjek de ukendte bands ud (2 answers)

Hi

I've spent a few hours or three on creating this page:

http://www.wulffeld.org/music/festivals/roskilde/1-Roskilde_Festival_2009

It's been one of these "an itch to scratch" projects. I've always found it cumbersome to check out the artists coming to a festival as it involves a lot of googling, so this page was made to remedy this a little bit. Each artist has associated links to popular music sites and you can suggest new links. If one registers an account you can hide artists you don't want to listen to and it becomes easier to suggest links as well.

I hope you like it. Suggestions are welcome.

Radiohead setlist (14 answers)

Hey!

Any thoughts on the length of this setlist?

With bleeding heart I have had to sell my Berlin ticket and will have to settle for Roskilde, which of course I'm exited about. Problem is that we often see much shorter setlists (20-21 tracks) vs. 24-25 tracks when it's Radioheads "own party"

On Southside and Hurricane there where a bussy program on the stage the day Radiohead played but thursday 3 july only one more band is playing the orange stage at Roskilde and Radiohead have it all to themselves programmed at 22.00 o'clock.

Do you think we can hope to see a normal 24-25 track set or are they just not beeing paid enough to do so by festivals? If there is a timelimit then they could just put them on 1 our before (No one is playing anyway)

Have any of you any experiences with long normal setlists at festivals (besides the 28 track bonnaroo 2006) ?

I'm really really hoping for at good long setlist maybe with new special tracks also like Super Collider and so... Please share your thoughts, thank you!

Hey everyone!

If you're coming to Roskilde, and you wanna meet some new, friendly people, why not join our Camp Unknown. The concept is pretty much like Camp Stranger - the point is to meet new people, but why not bring your friends. The more, the merrier, so just drag everyone along.

Check out our Facebook group if we caught your interest:

http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=17479902774&ref=ts

Also, we're gonna be launching our brand new website in a few days - join our Facebook group for info on that one

See you all at Roskilde (;

Roskilde Festival is officially DEAD (30 answers)

Roskilde Festival's line up largely ignores rock, punk, metal nowdays.

Rock Am Ring this weekend is sold out since more than a month back - 160.000 tickets!

Download Festival at Donington next weekend is selling very very well!

Sweden Rock Festival this weekend is full and sold out, over 33.000 visitors, the same weekend as Rock Am Ring!

Just look at Rock Am Ring's and Dowload's lineups. Stellar!!

The festival people want ROCK music NOT GAY JAY-Z!

Very disappointed in the direction Roskilde Festival has turned the last few years!

Pyramaze + Iced Earth?? (0 answers)

Wouldn't it be great to see Matt Barlow perform with both Pyramaze (Danish Band) and Iced Earth? He just put a CD out with Pyramaze as a one-time collaboration and is now back with Iced Earth touring Europe with Judas Priest in June. Come on Roskilde... It is a one-time opportunity!! :-)
