The show airs in the greater Copenhagen area tuesday evening between 10.30 PM
and midnight on 95,5 FM / 95,2 on cable. |

June is likewise shown at 13.00. Both these days you can watch the games on big

| Apr 28th | Resume from the chat with Roskilde spokesman Esben Danielsen:
- RF is trying to get more metal bands booked.
- A project to make new stages i 2003 has been started. This year it will be
the well-know stages.
- It is still a secret who will open and close orange stage.
- Ticket sales are looking good. Twice as many tickest has been sold compared
to this time last year.
- The hugging teams will apparently be there again this year, but in a
different way?
- The bands playing Ozzfest cannot play other gigs while on that tour.
- No bands has refused to play due to the tragic accident in 2000.
- There will be "Good mood"-patrols on the campsite sunday night. The purpose
is to keep up the good spirit and avoid tent burnings.
- South Park rules!
- There will large be BBQ grills in the cooking areas on the campsite.
- The people behind the fesival like our site too. We like that!
- The barrieres in front of orange and green stage will be in place again this
year. The entrance to the areas in front of the stages will be improved.
- Eskobar and Dropkick Murphys has not been confirmed yet!
More bands we wont be seeing at Roskilde this year:
- Blur - They dont play festivals this year.
- Coldplay.
- Depeche Mode - They would have liked to, but could not fit RF into
thier tour plan.
- Live - They are not touring Europe.
- Mike Tramp.
- Blink.
- Quano Apes - The played the festival i 1999.
- Creed - They are not touring europe.
- 22 pistepirrko - They will not be playing in Denamark this year.

if she will answer some questions concerning the booking group and the work

Danielsen this afternoon:
- Beer will cost the same as last year.
- 100 bands will be revealed tuesday. The last 50 will come later.
- The programme this year is focused on smaller bands and newcomers.
- Oasis has not been signed - yet!
- There will be lots of metal on the programme this year.
- The final programme is released about 3 weeks before the fesitval starts.
- Soccer world cup matches will be shown on big screens. At the camp site
before thursday and then at the festival site.
- There will be an internet cafe at the festival area. Remember to check out
this site for news during the festival.
- There will be lots of activities at the camp site (night films, playstation
competitions and more)
- The movie programme will be mostly music related films like "Year Of the
Horse" and "Jimi play Monterrey".
According to Esben Danielsen we wont be seeing these bands:
- Depeche Mode - They are not on tour in Europe this summer.
- DAD (DK) - They cannot play every year!
- Radiohead (UK) - They are not on tour.
- Gorillaz (UK) - They dont play festival jobs.
- Guns 'n' Roses (US) - They are not on tour in Europe.
- Pearl Jam (US) - They are not on tour.
- Creed - They are not on tour.
- Rolling Stones (US).

Today, member of the board of directors in the Roskilde Charity Society and
member of the management of the Roskilde Festival, manager / festival organiser
Leif Skov, has resigned.
Since the early 70's, Leif Skov has been one of the driving forces behind the
Roskilde Festival.
During a number of years, Leif Skov has been working in various committees and
boards of directors within the music and cultural business, both due to his
knowledge, experience, and network and as a representative for the Roskilde
Charity Society and Roskilde Festival.
It is the intention that Leif Skov will continue to use his energy in the music
and cultural business.

buy consulting assistance concerning many of the practical issues that has to
be dealt with, organizing a festival.
Besides the intention of sharing knowledge, the festival also hope that the
profit from the new company will make the festival less dependent of the income
from ticket sales.

increased marketing costs and a marginal decrease in the number of people
attending – factors which combined to reduce income by around 9 million DKK –
Roskilde '01 would have just about been able to balance its books.
After taking the three abovementioned factors into account, together with
supplementing income by festival gear sales totalling some 8 million DKK,
Roskilde '01 operating costs were about 1 million DKK in excess of total
revenue, a loss which will be registered and covered by the Roskilde Charity
Society.
