| Dec 18th | Roskilde Festival, Pet Shop Boys and Oasis has finally agreed to donate the to bands performance fees to charities. The two bands cancelled thier concerts on last years festival after the tragic deaths of nine young men. |
| Jul 2nd | Live has cancelled. Henning Stærk has been moved to 6 pm and Hoven Droven to 1.30 am. Both bands still play Green Stage. |
| Jul 1st | Chumbawamba and Femi Anikulapo-Kuti & The Positive Force will be moved from green to orange stage. |
| Jul 1st | Pet Shop Boys and Oasis has cancelled thier performances, since the security arrangemnets has not been changed since last night. The bands fear that the tragedy may be repeated. Also the bands feel it would be disrepcectfull to the victims and thier families to play from the stage where they were killed. |
| Jul 1st | The Pearl Jam gig friday night on Orange Stage turned into a tragedy when 8 people were crushed to death and several were injured. Despite the tragedy the festival continues as planned. |

| May 24th | According to their official website Noel Gallagher has decided to quit overseas touring with Oasis, with immediate effect, which means that Noel won't join the rest of the band at Roskilde. The Oasis tour will continue, though, and the band have already found a replacement guitarist, Matt Deighton, who has recently performed with Paul Weller and Mother Earth. |
